Message from Professor Bozenna Pasik-Duncan: 11/13/13

The Peer Tutoring Program for Math 121, Fall 2013, to promote teaching as the best practice for learning, has been established to engage students in the voyage of learning and teaching.

The list of Peer Tutors and their contact information has been created, posted, and will be updated daily. Any student who needs tutoring in some specific areas of calculus to improve his/her learning is welcome to contact any tutor from the list.

The outcome of this learning/teaching process needs to be reported to Professor Bozenna Pasik-Duncan, the coordinator of the course, by Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Peer Tutors will make their recommendations in those reports. Peer Tutors can tutor more than one student. All students participating in this new program will be recognized and rewarded.

Peer Tutors need to provide evidence of their success. Successful Peer Tutors will receive a Letter of Recommendation from the coordinator of the course.

The Peer Tutoring Program is a community service for the Math 121, Fall 2013 community.

For more information about the program, contact Bozenna Pasik-Duncan, the Coordinator of Math 121, Fall 2013: bozenna@math.ku.edu
