Dear Students, Congratulations on your projects! You have done great job. Your projects sound fascinating, and each received 25 points! No Homework for this weekend and next Wednesday. Enjoy the Fall Break!! You deserve it! You will have two guest speakers next week who will introduce you to exciting areas of applied mathematics: Optimization Theory/Control and Numerical Analysis/Methods. These lectures are supposed to be inspirational and motivating. I would enjoy as always to read your feedback. One page of your reflections from both lectures should be typed and brought to the classroom on the following Tuesday, October 18. This is another 5 pts extra credit. Thank you!
